ARTY children enjoyed taking part in fine art activities organised by the Woolavington Rural Activities Project during the summer.
The project was titled Portrait of a Parent and children worked on canvas using acrylic paint.
Professional artist and teacher Angela Watson led the group and formed an exhibition using the work over the August bank holiday weekend at the Woolavington Village Show.
Dylan Butt, Alex Smith and Saskia Head won prizes for their efforts, with Dylan also receiving the prize winner's cup for his outstanding work at the exhibition.
There will be another project in the near future where young people aged 12 and over are needed to work on a mural of modern Woolavington the way they see it. For more information, contact Christine Gale on 01278-783719 or e-mail wrap2@tiscali.co.uk
