THE new crop of students will receive a warm welcome at Chilton Trinity this September thanks to the school's ambassador scheme.
Almost 200 Yyear 6 students have been allocated a place at the school and are now preparing for the move.
To make this big step seem less daunting several Yyear 9 students at Chilton Trinity have been chosen to be the school’s ambassadors for 2014/15.
Their special assignment is to make the Yyear 6 students feel welcomed over the next few months – and then on their big day in September and throughout the year.
Students have been writing letters of application for around 40 places and will now be sent out across the feeder primary schools to meet the Yyear 6 students.
Beth Hampton, Hhead of Jupiter House, said: “This is a vital role and helps to put our new students at ease so they can look forward to coming to Chilton Trinity.”
