SOME 26 GCSE students from Robert Blake Science College prepared for their exams by visiting Pinkery on Exmoor for their Revision Residential.

This is the first time the school has run such a trip and students felt they benefited hugely from the revision with English and Maths teachers.

Deputy head teacher Mr Morrison said: “We organised this trip to help students get in the habit of revising outside of school for their forthcoming GCSE exams.

“The attitude of the students was fantastic and all worked hard to achieve the grades they are capable of with the support of our excellent staff.”

Year 11 student Jemima Williams said: “The Revision Residential gave me loads of confidence going in to the exams and I think it will really help me improve my grades. The school is doing lots for us and this is just one of the great things it has done.”

The school plans to run the trip again next year following the success of this trip.
