Spaxton School children invited to House of Lords to show off their bridge skills
CHILDREN at Spaxton School have been brushing up on their maths skills – using a version of the popular card game bridge.
The pupils have been learning to play mini bridge, and to help them understand its finer points, they received a visit from Lord Skelmersdale, who is president of the Somerset Contract Bridge Association.
Lord Skelmersdale has also invited a group of children to the House of Lords, to demonstrate their skills.
