Joy for Little Crickets thanks to generous donation

A GENEROUS donation from a group of Bridgwater women has put smiles on children’s faces.

Members of the Licensed Victuallers’ Association donated £250 to the Little Crickets Pre-school, based at Bridgwater Cricket Club.

The money has helped pay for a drying rack to dry paintings and a storage unit for toys.

The preschool, which takes children from two to school age, is holding an open day on Saturday, from 11am to 1pm, for parents whose child will need a preschool place between now and 2014.

There will be activities for children and a chance for parents to look around the facilities and ask staff questions.
