Cafe deal will secure public loos at Bridgwater bus station (From Bridgwater Mercury)

Hooray, common sense prevails for passengers at our local bus station. Good Luck to Pauline Collard and the
T-Stop Cafe.

O ok can't resist.does that mean if the police investagate a crime at the coach station they have something to go on boom boom.

Does this mean that the concrete blocks carefully laid to block up the entrance will be removed then? Or will entry be via the cafe, which presumably won't be open in the evening or on sundays

They can't open evenings or Sundays as they have to charge time and a turd

I hope it's a sucess but I cant see how many people will; want to eat a meal surrounded by ques to use the toilet.

I know people will say that Jed (Steve) is a friend of mine and my comments are biased... but...

At least Pauline and Steve are LOCAL people providing a service for the people of Bridgwater using LOCAL suppliers for fresh, homemade products - and not some faceless franchise selling over-rated, tasteless (IMO) mush at over-inflated prices to the mindless morons who only go for the name.

This was a brave decision by the Collards to invest their hard-earned cash into this venture and they should be commended for trying to provide something that the authorities can't or won't.

So let's all get behind them and make it a success for them and for the people of the town.

This would be a rubbish location for a post office so why not another cafe??? I would also like to point out that yes there WERE public toilets but this is now a privately run business and nothing to do with the council, the people that have ploughed thousand of hard earned money it to getting this venture set up are now paying rates and water on those toilets!! So while I'm sure they do not mind people darting in to use the loo if they are there to earn a living and if u haven't time to enjoy what they have to offer then a simple thank u as u head back out the door would be appreciated!!

That's funny coz I though it was a very negative and narrow minded comment from u.Also I didn't say it was "the worst place" for a bus station I said it was a rubbish place!! Not everyone that needs to go to the post office goes there on the bus!! Surely it's a good thing that in the current financial climate someone is starting a new business and creating jobs for local people?? Not just in the cafe but by using local produce and businesses to supply them??
