Crews free trapped motorist

FIRE crews from Bridgwater and Burnham released a trapped motorist following a car crash near Street today.

They were sent to a road off the A39 at Shapwick just after 1.30pm.

A spokesman said: “On arrival crews confirmed a woman was trapped and got to work stabilising the vehicle and taking the roof off.”
