TENANTS and staff from Bridgwater social housing group Homes in Sedgemoor raised almost £500 for the Macmillan cancer charity.
Speaking after the event, part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign, Homes in Sedgemoor chief executive Dawn Lang said: “It was great to see the community and our staff pulling together for such a worthy cause and showing off their baking skills.”
The bulk of the money was raised at Woolavington Community Centre, where council tenants baked cakes and staged a raffle.
