Work begins on new police HQ in Express Park
WORK has begun on a giant police HQ in Bridgwater.
The operations base at Express Park will include a custody and crime investigation centre, a police station, specialist operations and policing teams.
The start of work follows the signing of a contract between Avon and Somerset Police and Blue Light Partnership.
The HQ will open early in 2014.

A new Police Station at Express Park?. Does this mean the old Northgate Police Station is to be defunct, possibly a site for redevelopment?.
