THE trial of an 84-year-old man accused of stabbing another pensioner to death is likely to begin in December.
Anthony Andrews, of Chilton Street, Bridgwater, is charged with the murder of Honiton businessman Mike Bithrey, 72, who died of a single stab wound following an incident in that street on June 21.
A hearing at Bristol Crown Court yesterday ordered a pre-trial review on November 9.
Mr Andrews, who has been remanded in custody since his arrest, is in hospital and did not attend yesterday's hearing.
