FIFTEEN cyclists from Hinkley Point A will travel 180-miles from Lands End back to Hinkley Point this weekend.

The group will take on the challenge to raise funds for Taunton Opportunity Group (TOG), a charity which supports preschool children with learning difficulties.

The fourteen men and one brave woman will set off tomorrow morning and arrive at Hinkley on Saturday evening, to be welcomed by charity representatives at a BBQ at the Friendly Spirit in Cannington.

David Hancock, TOG spokesman, said: “We cannot thank the cyclists enough. They are setting themselves a real challenge in an attempt to raise money for our pre-school.”

The riders and supporters are grateful to all sponsors of the event including Magnox, AM Sensors, Promanex, Darbus, Bridgwater and Albion Rugby club, Kitsons and Thirsty Work and the Friendly Spirit Cannington.

The group hopes to raise at least £2,000.
