A MYSTERY vandal set fire to a car in the dead of night and then drove off in another vehicle.

The arson happened just off the A372 between Westonzoyland and Middlezoy at around 4.30am on Sunday.

Police believe the offender/s arrived and left in a vehicle.

Anybody with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.
