Business workshops for Bridgwater's budding entrepreneurs
7:30am Tuesday 4th September 2012 in Bridgwater Area News
Cllr David Hall
BUSINESS people in Bridgwater can apply for a place on a free learning scheme.
The Somerset Innovation Learning Programme will give entrepreneurs the chance to learn how to improve their business.
Cllr David Hall, county council cabinet member for Economic Development, Infrastructure and Innovation, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to learn some new skills, explore a new approach to business and take a fresh look at your organisation.”
Experts and business leaders will pass on their knowledge, and workshop sessions will allow people to discuss challenges and share ideas.
The programme, aimed at senior managers, is one three-hour session a month for six months.
To apply, visit www.somerset-chamber.co.uk/business-support/Mentoring.htm by September 14.

Senior managers are supposed to know what they are doing, that is why they are senior,i.e. experienced.Do we pay rates to educate people in a job that they are supposed to know already? Is this what parts of the Quantocks were sold off for?
