A WALKER from Bridgwater has conquered Hadrian’s Wall to raise cash for charity.
George Stevenson, 69, of Friarn Street, walked the length of the wall for St Margaret’s Somerset Hospice.
George said: “People have been sponsoring me. Money’s still coming in and I’m not sure of the total yet.
“My ex-landlord suggested I do the walk for charity as I wanted to do it anyway for the love of walking.
“I’d encourage people to walk as it’s a great way to stay active.”
