A CONSULTATION on the possible relocation of Bridgwater’s post office to Sainsbury’s will be discussed at a meeting tonight.

The Town Council meeting, open to the public, will be held at Trinity Hall, St Saviour’s Avenue, from 7.30pm and will hear an update on the consultation from Post Office representatives.

They will respond to written questions which were registered ahead of the meeting and take some questions from the floor.

If the Post Office was going to any supermarket it would make more sense if it was Asda because that is closer to the town centre and right next to the bus station.
Trouble is no one has the sense to realize this and don't care that Sainsbury's is too far for people less-able to walk to.

Sainsbury's is small enough without adding a post office. What was wrong with putting it back in the newsagent's shop in the precinct ? all the connections were allready installed and people would shop in the precinct being in the centre of the town where a post office should be !!!!
