TWO unlicensed security operatives were found during a joint police and security operation in Bridgwater.
The security director and his employee did not hold Security Industry Authority licences for the security guarding duties they were carrying out at a building site.
Both men were cautioned and questioned by the police following the incident last month and are due to return to Bridgwater Police Station this month to be interviewed.
SIA Head of Investigation Paul Cartlidge said: “If you are found to be working illegally, you could find yourself facing prosecution. We will work with our police partners to ensure that trained and licensed security staff are working legally.”

The people of Bridgwater can sleep safer in their beds tonight now.
It was only last week whilst walking through town on a saturday night (trying to avoid the drunks and louts) that I was only thinking to myself whether or not security operatives on building sites were properly licensed.
