HOMES in Sedgemoor is working in partnership with other agencies to continue to offer free football training to young people.
The GOAL initiative began in May 2011 and is going for a second year.
John Holman, chief executive at Homes in Sedgemoor, said, “The GOAL initiative is a great way for children to get involved in the community and exercise at the same time. To be working in partnership with all the agencies on this project provides a great opportunity for young people in the local community.”
The training is available for children aged eight to 16 and teams will have the opportunity of a free trip to watch Yeovil Town FC. It also offers older children and volunteers the opportunity to gain a coaching qualification.
• The sessions, running every Friday, begin on March 2, 7pm to 8pm at Bridgwater College. For more information or to book a place, please contact Homes in Sedgemoor on 0800 585 360 or email customer.services@homesinsedgemoor.org
