Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist and a car collided in Bridgwater this morning.
The cyclist was knocked off his bicycle, which was damaged, and suffered minor injuries following the incident at the junction of Taunton Road and Wills Road at 6.50am.
The motorist, driving a green Ford Fiesta, initially stopped before driving off without exchanging details.
• Anyone who witnessed the collision or knows the driver involved is asked to contact the Taunton Police Station on 101. Alternatively, phone the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. They never ask your name or trace your call.
