POLICE say four youths aged 12 to 14 were responsible for damage to Bridgwater’s Brick and Tile Museum last month.
The Mercury reported how shuttering was pulled down and bricks and tiles were smashed against the walls of the Grade I listed building during the attack on August 8.
Police say one of the youths was arrested and received a final warning, while the others were reported to the youth justice department.
A police spokesman described the attack as “totally unacceptable” and thanked Mercury readers for their help in solving the crime.
