Police tape off area in Bath Road

POLICE have taped off a small area near homes in Bath Road in Bridgwater this morning.
Officers were called out at 4.30am following reports that a 21-year-old man had been cut and punched to the face.
However, following investigations, police now say they do not believe an assault took place.
A man has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act in connection with the incident.
