Countdown to Cornhill bistro in April.

REBIRTH of Bridgwater's Cornhill centrepiece is now only weeks away from completion.

Work has been underway since summer and, despite missing its Valentine's Day opening plans, project bosses say progress is continuing apace.

Sedgemoor District Council's senior valuer, Tim Mander, revealed: "It's certainly in budget too, slightly under budget in fact, and now we're looking to be open at the beginning of April."
