FURTHER evidence has emerged this week that a family of swans feared to have been 'bird-napped' from Bridgwater's docklands are actually safe and well.
After we reported on the birds' mysterious disappearance, readers told the Mercury swans had been seen landing on the field opposite Dunball Wharf.
And this week, reader Peter Coleman wondered whether the birds in his picture were the docklands swans. He said: “I watched them for more than a week gathering daily near the south side of Bridgwater.”
