BRIDGWATER care home Sydenham House is holding a coffee morning to help make death less taboo.
On March 19, from 10.30am, people can meet local figures whose roles include dealing with death, such as district nurses, spiritual leaders and funeral directors.
Home manager Jeanette Martin said: “Although our main aim is to enrich the lives of our residents, we provide care at the end of life both in our care homes and in the community.
“I hope that by holding this event we can provide people with information and support, so that they become less fearful about the end of life.”
