STAFF at a Bridgwater clothes shop will be turning on the kettle to join the World's Biggest Coffee Morning on September 26.

Staff and customers at Bonmarche in the Angel Place shopping centre will be supporting the Macmillan Cancer Support charity with 50,000 other coffee mornings taking place nationwide.

Homemade cakes and special pin-badges will be on sale to customers from 9am to 12pm.

Macmillan hopes to raise over £8 million to help services such as information and counselling centres, benefits advisors and financial grants to help people with their practical needs.

Two million people in the UK are currently living with cancer and one in three will be diagnosed with it during their lifetime.
