BRIDGWATER’S ACTS Seniors have been learning some amazing skills for their latest production.
The group’s upcoming show is a version of Barnum, a musical based on the life of circus impresario PT Barnum, which will be playing at Bridgwater Town Hall between May 23-25 at 7.30pm.
ACTS musical director Alan King said: “The children have been learning circus skills including juggling, trapeze and walking on stilts for this show, as well as their musical routines.
“It is based on the 1970 musical Barnum starring Michael Crawford and has some great songs - it is the same story as the hit film The Greatest Showman but it has different music.”
Committed organisers Alan and Val King have been running ACTS for 22 years.
Tickets cost £15 for adults and £12 for children/concessions and can be purchased from the Carnival Centre.
