ALL lanes are now open on the M5 northbound after a crash between Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea.
The crash happened between J22 (Burnham-on-Sea) and J23 (Bridgwater) just after 8am today (April 19).
It is believed three vehicles were involved.
All traffic was temporarily held until 8.30am while emergency services moved the vehicles to the hard shoulder.
There is still queuing traffic on the motorway.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.07am to reports of a road traffic collision.
"We have attended with two ambulances.
"This incident is currently ongoing."
It is not yet known if anyone has been injured.
