POLICE have successfully sought to have a Bridgwater property closed under the anti-social behaviour, crime and policing act.

The windows have been boarded up and notifications left on the door of 4 Mendip Close, prohibiting anyone from entering the property for three months.

The order, which was sought by Avon and Somerset Police, was granted at Taunton Magistrates Court on Wednesday, February 21.

On the door of the property there is also a notification from the RSPCA, which states that a tank and four fish were removed from the property 'because the animals' need were not being met'.
