A KFC drive-thru restaurant could be built at Sedgemoor Services if plans are approved.

Fast food giant, KFC, is seeking planning permission to build a 263sqm drive-thru restaurant, a drive-thru lane and 107 car parking spaces including two disabled spaces on unused land at Sedgemoor Services just off the M5 near Burnham-on-Sea.

KFC says if approved, the new restaurant will create ten full time and ten part times jobs.

In their design and access statement, KFC said the new restaurant will have grey, black and brown cladding on the outside and will have an aluminium roof.

Comments are welcome on the application until March 15 after which a decision will be made by Sedgemoor District Council.
