AN ESTIMATED £95,000 worth of cannabis has been seized as a result of drug raids by police in Wedmore and Cheddar.
Police also confirmed that a quantity of class A drugs were found during when executing the warrants, and two men, both aged 54, have been arrested and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
The three warrants were all executed on Wedesnday, October 4.
PC Tracey Jones, of the neighbourhood policing team, said: “This was a significant find of class A and B drugs which came as a direct result of an intelligence-led police operation.
“We will always act on information about the supply of illegal drugs in our local communities and would encourage people to call us if they have any suspicions or concerns.”
