MORE than 150 tractors descended on Sedgemoor Auction Centre on Sunday to boost funds for Freddy Vallender.

The event was in aid of Freddy’s Fight For Life, the campaign to help tractor-mad four-year-old Freddy Vallender from Bridgwater get lifesaving surgery in the United States.

Freddy Vallender has a large tumour on his heart and lives with a defibrillator implanted in his chest. He needs urgent surgery that can only be performed in Boston.

His parents Cathryn and Andy have been working tirelessly to raise £100,000 needed to transform Freddy’s future.

The first tractors arrived into Junction 24 shortly before 1pm and there was also a hog roast and prizes for the best decorated tractor and most inappropriately dressed driver. The day also featured mini tractors and vintage models.
