EASTOVER will re-open next Sunday, (August 20) once drainage works for the new Mercure Hotel are complete.
The road was initially shut at the end of last month, while the work is being carried out by WRW construction.
The £9m Mercure Hotel is being built in the centre of town on the former Co-op site and is due to open in late 2017.
The new hotel will have 100-bedrooms, bar, associated car parking and landscaping.
There are also plans for a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill in the planned four-star hotel.
Meanwhile in Wembdon there are likely to be some small delays for motorists along Wembdon Rise for the next fortnight or so. Traffic lights will be in place along Homberg Way and Wembdon Rise while a zebra crossing is constructed.
Elsewhere Main Road in Middlezoy will be closed until Friday while Wessex Water carry out water meter replacement works.
