A CHILTON Trinity student will have his short story put on display for thousands of National Express passengers to read after winning a creative writing competition
Ryan Bateman, 13, wrote 'Cats Eyes' described by judges as a heartwarming story about love and loss at Christmas time.
Now his tale features alongside other winning entries on the National Express's on-board entertainment system in a section called Travel Tales.
Judge and author Huw Powell said: “What a wonderful story, Ryan’s descriptions really make the story seem realistic and the relationship between the reader and the cat make the story very enjoyable to read. Many congratulations on a brilliant piece of writing.”
