STAFF and pupils at Nether Stowey Primary School are delighted after receiving a Good rating in the school's latest Ofsted report.
Headteacher Ro Roberts said: "I am just so proud to see how far the school has come in my four years here as headteacher.
"This is a landmark moment for the school on its journey towards outstanding practice in all areas."
The Ofsted inspectors praised the 'dedicated teachers', 'inspired leadership team' and the school's focus on outdoor learning.
"The school has enthusiastic, inspired pupils who aren’t afraid to try new challenges," the report states.
It also said the whole staff team works to ensure every pupil reaches their full potential, and praised the new £20,000 development of the Reception Class outdoor learning environment.
The school was also credited for its achievements in sports, particularly swimming, and the musical opportunities available to pupils.
The full inspection report was published on Wednesday and can be found on the Ofsted website.
