THERE has been a suspected arson attack on a garage in Bridgwater.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue crews were called to Chamberlin Avenue around 3am this morning (July 14).
Three engines from Street, Ilminster and Bridgwater attended the scene.
On arrival crews confirmed one garage with shrubbery alight inside.
The fire service believes the fire was started deliberately.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, an extension ladder and a thermal image camera to extinguish the fire.
The damage was confined to the garden waste inside the garage, with slight smoke damage to the inside of the garage.
