A MAN has donated a selection of handmade wooden toys to a care home in Bridgwater to raise money for Brainwave.
John Holman donated a variety of artisan wooden toys such as lorries, planes and trains to Cassa Di Lusso to thank them for caring for his wife.
Mr Holman said: “I’ve been making these for years, they are a real hit with my family, but I thought it would be a nice thing to do for the home.
"My wife Jo was so well cared for and looked after, I wanted to give something back, I couldn’t fault the care she received and it meant the world to me knowing she was in safe, caring hands.
"All the staff at Casa di Lusso have been incredible, not only to my wife but to me as well”.
