A DIAMOND couple from Bridgwater who recently celebrated 60 years of marriage have used their wedding anniversary to raise money for charity.
Maurice and Shirley Rossiter celebrated their anniversary on July 6, and threw a party to celebrate.
The popular couple saw more than 100 people turn up to celebrate their anniversary.
The party raised £315 for Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance in donations.

Mr Rossiter said: "We told everyone we didn't want presents, but instead to make a donation to charity.
"We chose Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance because we think it's a great cause and we wanted to support it.
"In total the party raised £315."
