PLANS for a new four-storey building containing eight flats have been given the green light.
Bridgwater Town Council opposed the development, saying it would add to parking issues, but the plans were approved by Sedgemoor District Council’s development committee.
The project will see the current single storey building at 27-28 Cornhill demolished, and a new building constructed in its place.
