POLICE are already stepping up patrols in Bridgwater’s Binford Place, their next target area for clamping down on anti-social behaviour in the town.
Residents and traders made their thoughts known about problems in the area at last month’s Town Development Forum and the police have responded swiftly.
More police have been seen on patrol and the mobile police station has based near the area on a number of occasions.
Sgt Joe Piscina said: The operation is in the initial stages. Direction has been given to use our wide ranging ASB powers to remove problem people from the area.”
