SEDGEMOOR District Council is inviting residents to show their support for Armed Forces Day.
Throughout the week the Armed Forces Day flag will be raised on buildings and famous landmarks around the country and Bridgwater is no different.
In our neck of the woods the flag will once again be flown from Bridgwater House, being raised at 9am on Monday, June 19.
"It is an opportunity for the nation to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community; from currently serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets," said chairman of Sedgemoor District Council, Cllr Mike Cresswell.
"We collectively ensure that the Armed Forces Day is justly remembered in future years, with this flag as a symbol of respect for service in this country."
