THE Prince’s Trust Team, run by Bridgwater and Taunton College, have completed a community project at Morland Hall, Highbridge.
The task was part of The Prince’s Trust team programme, 12 week self-development designed to help young people not in education or training to build up their confidence, motivation, employability and team work skills. The programme involves a residential trip, a community project, work experience, a team challenge and a final presentation.
The team felt Morland Hall and the vast amount of groups in the community that use it would benefit from their hard work more than other sites visited in the Bridgwater area.
The team managed to get companies to supply 24 tins of paint, two paint trays and two sets of brushes.
They were on site for eight days, decorating four bathrooms and the main hall.
