SCOPE Bridgwater is holding its annual Great Donate event, and is appealing for people to get involved.
A spokesman for Scope said: "It is that time of year when people have a big clean out, and can help us replenish the supplies of our charity shops.
"Can you help us? Every bag you fill up is worth about £20 to Scope."
Ladies handbags and belts bring in a lot of money, as does any brand-named clothing.
The Great Donate runs from Monday, April 24 through until Sunday, May 7.
"We would kindly ask that you go through your unwanted goods and take your bags to your local Scope charity shop in Bridgwater. We would like to ask everyone to participate this year," the spokesman said.
"Pick up a donation bag from our shop, fill it up with your unwanted goods and be a Great Donate Hero. Thank you for your continued support."
