CRASH: A woman was taken to Bridgwater Hospital with minor injuries following the crash
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a motorbike crash near Bridgwater.
The crash took place on the A39 Bath Road near the Holywell Road junction shortly after midday.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called to a road traffic collision on the A39 on Bath Road at 12.18pm.
"One woman, a motorcyclist, was injured, but it is not clear if another vehicle was involved."
A spokesman for the Ambulance service said: "We were called to a road traffic collision at 12.20pm where there was one female casualty.
"She suffered minor injuries and was taken to Bridgwater Hospital to be treated."
