CHILDREN at Eastover Primary School enjoyed a hands-on learning experience during the annual Science Day.
The whole school took part and there were a variety of activities across the day.
Charlotte Whitwham, Year 5 science co-ordinator at Eastover Primary School, said a range of topics were covered.
“In my class we had the pupils making cornflour slime, in one class they were making parachutes, another was looking into fossils,” she said.
“The activities meant children were able to learn about biology, physics and chemistry in a practical way throughout the day.”
