POWER was cut from 46 homes near Bridgwater after trees fell on power lines.
The power cut affected 44 homes in Dunwear near Bridgwater and two homes in Crowpill near Bridgwater.

A spokesman for Western Power Distribution said: "There has been a fault with power lines in the Dunwear locality after trees hit power lines near Bridgwater.
"44 homes had their power cut off as a result of the fault.

"Our engineers are working hard to resolve the issue as soon as possible and hope to have power restored to the 44 customers by 4pm."
"The two homes in Crowpill are the result of a low voltage cable fault and they should be restored in the next couple of hours."
Power has now been restored to all the affected homes.
