THE strong winds from Storm Doris are having an effect in Bridgwater today.
Firefighters headed to The Cornhill at 11.50am after reports of tiles coming loose a building in the town centre.

According to the fire service the tiles were coming loose above Watts Pat motors and the road had to be closed while crews dealt with the situation.
An aerial ladder platform was used and by 1pm the property had been made safe.
Earlier a fallen tree blocked the A39 and caused slow traffic on Bath Road.
