STALLHOLDERS are being invited to sign up for a Christmas Fair taking place this November in aid of Spaxton Church of England (C of E) School’s Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA).

The Fair will be held in Spaxton Village Hall on Saturday, November 26 and stallholders are invited to display and sell their goods at the festive-themed event.

Chair of the PTFA, Louisa Blackmore said: “We’re hoping to raise invaluable funds to help support a series of activities and initiatives to assist the school. We have just a few spaces left and we wanted to give people the chance to book up early.

“We would like to have a range of food stalls offering Christmas treats such as puddings, biscuits and chutneys, as well as craft, gift and decoration stalls.

“There will also be a raffle, refreshments and entertainment for all the family on the day. We hope to offer a range of different stalls at the event so that there is something to appeal to everyone.

“The Christmas Fair is always well attended, with several hundred visitors in previous years and we expect it to be a similar number this time around.”

The PTFA’s role is to raise funds to help support the school and its educational and social activities.

It helps pay for ICT equipment including interactive equipment such as Lego Mindstorms and Blue Bots, school trips and the school wildlife area.

Mrs Blackmore added: “The Christmas Fair promises to be a fun event for all the family and we’re on course to have a variety of stalls there to ensure visitors have plenty to see and do.”

Places for stallholders will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Stallholders will be required to pay £10 for a standard table and also donate a prize for the raffle.

The Christmas Fair will be held at Spaxton Village Hall in Spaxton on Saturday, November 26. Stallholders will be invited to set up from 1pm onwards and the event will be held from 2pm until 5pm.
