A PURSE containing sentimental photos and cards was stolen from a medical centre in Bridgwater.

Police say a man entered the staff area of the Taunton Road Medical Centre on August 2 and took the purse.

It happened at around 2pm, and in the purse there was money, High Street gift vouchers, sentimental cards and photographs.

The purse is described as a black Radley purse with a turquoise coloured Radley dog in one corner.

The owner of the purse is appealing for its return but particularly wants the cards and photos, which are of great sentimental value.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 6ft tall, 23-25-years-old, who was wearing a long sleeved wool jumper and jeans.

He had a black belt it is possible he may have tucked the purse behind the belt.

Anyone who has information or who finds a purse, similar to that taken, is asked to call 101, quoting reference 5216170779.
