A CANNINGTON lady is appealing for donations to be used as prizes in a charity auction and raffle.
Louise Hooper has organised a fun day and night at the King's Head pub in the village to raise money for Musgrove Leukaemic Group Somerset.
The event will take place on August 6 from 12pm, with a raffle, tombola, an auction, a calender of local men for sale, bands playing, an open mic evening, a BBQ all day, a bouncy castle and pony rides.
Louise is hoping people will get behind the cause and support the event by donating any prizes they can offer.
She said: "We want to make an impact and raise money for this charity.
"We're appealing to local businesses or people to see if they can offer any prizes for the raffle or the auction.
"We have things like tickets for Butlin's at the moment, but we would love it if people could help us out."
