FIRE: Police and fire crews were called to a suspected deliberate vehicle fire in St Matthews Green in Bridgwater
A VEHICLE fire which is believed to have been started deliberately is being investigated by police.
Both police and fire crews were called to the car park in St Matthews Green in Bridgwater at 10pm last night.
They found a vehicle on fire, and fire crews extinguished it using two breathing apparatus wearers and two hose reel jets.
The vehicle was 50 per cent damaged by the fire.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "The matter is being treated as suspicious and we are asking anyone with any information to contact police in Bridgwater on 101, quoting reference number 5216/129572."
