RESIDENTS of Somerset turned out in their numbers to enjoy a free charity weekend celebrating the county.
Held at the King Alfred in Burrowbridge, the event ran across May 14 and 15.
A cider and sausage festival took place over the two days, where guests could choose homemade or locally produced sausage flavours and what they'd like them served with.
Live music was showcased on Saturday afternoon, followed by a duck race on the river where 400 rubber ducks will fight for places to win their sponsors a prize.
Ducks cost £1 each and could be bought on the day or in advance, with all money raised on the day going to the young persons cancer charity Clic Sargent.
On the Sunday attendees were serving Sunday lunch, with more sausages and cider, followed by more live music from 4pm.
Phil Webster, organiser, said: "Clic Sargent is a charity close to our hearts.
"It was a fantastic weekend and very busy with so many people coming to support.
"The weather was lovely too so the event was just perfect."
